🍿 Frankie’s Organic Snacks Lands on Amazon

Frankie’s Organic Snacks, founded in 2018 as a family-owned brand, is expanding its U.S. presence with an Aug. 28 Amazon launch of 15-count snack-size Puffcorn multipacks, including an Amazon-exclusive White Cheddar pack and the seasonal return of White Cheddar Ghost Puffs, following its recent rollout to more than 500 Target stores. The Amazon assortment includes individually packaged 0.5-ounce bags of White Cheddar, Himalayan Pink Salt and limited-edition White Cheddar Ghost Puffs, priced at $14.99 per 15-count multipack. The launch gives the brand another nationwide channel while introducing a convenient snack-size format for lunches and on-the-go snacking.

🥤 VKTRY Protein Heads to GNC

VKTRY Protein, founded by former NFL athlete and serial entrepreneur Brad Pyatt, will launch The Athlete’s Protein Shot nationwide at GNC on Sept. 1, offering 23 grams of protein and zero sugar in a 3.3-ounce lactose-free format across four flavors. The compact shot is powered by beta-lactoglobulin protein technology and comes in Citrus Edge, Apple Surge, Berry Strike and Melon Rush. The GNC rollout will introduce the format at scale with support from sampling, athlete and creator partnerships, digital marketing and sports-focused activations.

🫐 Nature’s Wild Berry Enters Foodservice

Nature’s Wild Berry, co-founded by Hank Watt and Juliano Bonanni, is entering foodservice distribution through US Foods Direct with its plastic-free Travel Jar now accessible to roughly 300,000 customer locations, marking a major distribution milestone in the brand’s tenth year. The shelf-stable product contains miraculin, a protein that makes sour foods taste sweet without added sugar or reformulation. Early interest has come from tasting menus, zero-proof programs, hotels, catering, healthcare, senior living and university dining, giving the brand a new path into foodservice.

☕ Oval Coffee Roasters Expands at Lowes Foods

Oval Coffee Roasters, co-founded by Christopher Alspach and Andrew Itzkowitz, has launched all six of its retail products at 45 Lowes Foods locations across North Carolina and South Carolina, expanding access to its whole-bean coffees and single-serve pour-over packs with support from KeHE Distributors. The assortment includes three whole-bean coffees and three single-serve pour-over 8-packs, with distribution across markets including Raleigh, Wilmington, Winston-Salem, Myrtle Beach, Greenville and Charleston. The pour-over format requires only hot water and a mug, offering a convenient way to enjoy specialty coffee at home, work or while traveling.

🥜 Day Out Debuts Fall Flavors

Day Out, founded by Becki Dheri, is launching limited-edition Apple Pie and Pumpkin Cheesecake protein balls exclusively online beginning Aug. 17, with each serving delivering 9 grams of protein from the brand’s signature nut butter-and-date base. Apple Pie combines sweet apple flavor with warm spices, while Pumpkin Cheesecake pairs pumpkin spice with white chocolate chips and cheesecake notes and marks the brand’s first flavor containing dairy. Both varieties come in 4.5-ounce bags with nine protein balls and will be available through the brand’s website and Amazon while supplies last.

🫘 Ithaca Hummus Expands Its EVOO Line

Ithaca Hummus, founded by Chris Kirby, launched new Classic and Roasted Red Pepper flavors made with 100% extra virgin olive oil nationwide on Aug. 18, extending an EVOO platform inspired by the success of its previous limited-edition Graza collaboration across a retail footprint of more than 16,000 stores. The new flavors follow the success of Ithaca’s previous olive-oil offering, which became its number-one SKU last year. Priced at a suggested $4.99 to $5.99, the products are rolling out through retailers including Target, Whole Foods, Walmart, Publix, Sprouts and Wegmans.

🥜 Doich Takes Protein Cups on Tour

Doich, co-founded and led by CEO Anthony Scialdone, is debuting 20-gram-protein, 11-gram-fiber Protein Cups through its 10-city “Taste Decides Tour” ahead of the product’s October availability, giving thousands of consumers a chance to sample the new format before it reaches market. The brand is introducing Protein Cups directly to consumers through a cross-country sampling tour rather than a traditional product launch. Stops include San Diego, Austin, Miami, Nashville, Chicago, Philadelphia and New York, with the tour concluding in Scottsdale on Sept. 26 before the cups become available to purchase in October.

🥣 Icelandic Provisions Goes Pumpkin Spice

Icelandic Provisions is launching its first seasonal limited-time skyr, Thick & Creamy Pumpkin Spice Skyr, on Aug. 19 across 13 retail banners, featuring real pumpkin, maple syrup and warm spices with 15 grams of protein per serving. The launch marks the brand’s first move into a seasonal limited-time flavor after years of building its permanent lineup. Developed over more than a year, the $2.19 skyr combines real pumpkin, maple syrup, brown sugar, butter and warm spices and will be available at retailers including Whole Foods Market, Wegmans, Giant Eagle and Fresh Thyme.

🍕 Sach Foods Expands Beyond Paneer

Sach Foods, co-founded by Jasleen and Tarush Agarwal, is expanding beyond paneer with Indian-inspired frozen sourdough pizzas in three varieties and a new Nomms artisanal cheese-snack line, broadening the brand into familiar formats built around premium ingredients and protein. The pizza lineup includes Tandoori Veggie, Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Feta & Paneer on fermented, hand-stretched sourdough crust, with up to 60 grams of protein per pie. Sach also launched Nomms in Cheddar Gouda and Aged Truffle Cheddar, with each cheese stick delivering 7 grams of protein and five ingredients or fewer.

🥤 KEANU Secures Noetic Investment

KEANU, founded by former Lazard consumer investment banker Alex Russell, secured a new investment from Noetic Fund as the instant noble kava beverage company looks to scale its vision for kava as a social alternative for relaxation and connection, following a first product drop that sold out in 67 minutes. The funding supports KEANU’s effort to bring traditional instant noble kava into more American social occasions, including after-work relaxation and low-key gatherings. The brand’s first product drop sold out in 67 minutes and drew more than 3,000 people to its waitlist, providing early momentum as it works to grow the category.

🥤 Brella Beverage Adds Industry Veteran to Board

Brella Beverage Inc., led by CEO James Semrick, appointed beverage industry veteran Paul Lux to its Board of Directors, adding nearly two decades of experience across manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, M&A and beverage operations as the company expands its production platform and owned-brand portfolio. Lux previously served as Vice President of Distilling Solutions Sales at MGP Ingredients and spent more than a decade as President of Meier’s Beverage Group, where he helped grow the business into a diversified beverage manufacturing platform. His appointment adds operating and transactional experience as Brella continues expanding its manufacturing capabilities and owned-brand portfolio.
