Every week we are reminded of the systematic racism that is still prevalent in America. George Floyd, Aubrey Ahmad, Breonna Taylor are just the most recent names to be added to our national list of black men and women murdered in our country. We are very much still a segregated country, and we can see that in the language we use to describe these incidents. A “White police officer murdered a black man.”

As Americans, we share many common values along with unique cultures and heritages that create a rich, diverse, and innovative society. We must celebrate both our differences, and our common values. We created this list of American food and beverage businesses (that are black-owned) as an economic push to spend our money with diverse companies creating delicious foods. By supporting American black-owned businesses, we can highlight and support those who make our country great.

There are thousands of black-owned food and beverage businesses across our country. Here is a list of 10+ you can begin supporting.

I ask you to join in not just supporting these businesses once, but frequently, spreading their praises far and wide.
